About

Chinese medicine treatments for pain management, and cosmetic and facial rejuvenation

As a professional Chinese Medicine practitioner (with an Applied Science and Health Science degree), I’m committed to providing high-quality, professional Chinese medicine services.

I’m dedicated to helping my patients take control of their health through a variety of traditional Chinese medicine treatment methods that include traditional acupuncture, motor point acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, cupping, Chinese herbal medicine, acupressure, and dietary and lifestyle advice.

Because Chinese Medicine considers every person’s health status individually, treatments will be based on your personal situation and the conditions you present with at your consultation in my Wollongong clinic.

Zoe is a dedicated professional

Zoe is a caring and thorough practitioner who set me at ease from our very first meeting. She provided me with holistic solutions that were tailored to my lifestyle and evolving needs.

My experience

When I was in high school, I regularly saw a Chinese Medicine practitioner and was inspired to share this knowledge with other people.

My interest in cosmetic acupuncture expanded when I learned about natural medicine treatments that were designed to keep skin healthy and acne-free.

I was also fortunate to work for four months in China following doctors at the renowned Jiangsu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing. Due to its reputation, people would travel five hours to come to this hospital. While I was there, I was immersed in many different hospital departments including:

  • Dermatology (skin health)

  • Rheumatology (arthritis and any joint/muscle issues)

  • Gastroenterology (digestive and gut disorders)

  • Paediatrics (illness in children)

  • Oncology (oncology medication side effects, such as nausea and vomiting, and fatigue associated with cancer drugs).

I was completely blown away by how integrated Western and Chinese Medicine was within China. This completely fits with my ideology of Western and Chinese Medicine having important roles in treating a person.

Now I’m delighted to be able to help people live a happy, healthy and positive life.

More about me

Having grown up in Wollongong, I moved to Melbourne to study Chinese Medicine where I volunteered as an acupuncturist at a community centre, providing acupuncture to disadvantaged members of the local community.

After 7 years away, I have moved back to our gorgeous town between the escarpment and the sea. Since moving back to Wollongong, I have been making the most of living by the sea, with lots of swims and walks on the beach. Lately I have been learning pottery at Clay Wollongong and I look forward to spending more time wheel throwing crockery to use when entertaining friends and family. I even use some of the bowls I have created in my cosmetic acupuncture sessions!

I am passionate about sustainability and growing local food, which has led me to create a kitchen garden in my backyard where I share home grown produce with the Crop Swap community in Port Kembla.,

Harry (my partner) and I have a cuddly Brazilian parrot named Charlie, as well as 9 chickens who make us laugh daily with their distinctively different personalities.
