Appointments

Wollongong Acupuncture appointments for Chinese medicine.

Covid Regulations

During the Covid-19 period, in-clinic acupuncture and online Telehealth appointments are available. Strict government hygiene protocols will be implemented throughout the clinic.

In between each patient, a methylated spirits-based cleaning formula is used to clean the treatment table and any touched surfaces such as chairs and tables. Any towels used in the treatment are washed after use to ensure strict hygiene practices are followed.

You will be communicated with via email before your appointment to remind you to cancel your appointment if you experience any fever, cough, sore throat or other Covid-19 symptoms. If you have cold or flu symptoms and need to stay home, I do offer telehealth treatments so you can still receive the help you need.

Masks will be required during the consultation and treatment if there are local Covid-19 cases in the Illawarra. If this is implemented due to a local cluster, I will communicate this to you.

Please contact me before your appointment if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:

fever, shortness of breath, tiredness, sore throat, loss of taste or smell or dry cough.

Appointments

You can make an appointment through our quick and easy online booking form or by phoning 0431 363 450.

Upon booking your appointment, you will be advised of the address of the clinic. You’ll also be emailed a booking confirmation email and an electronic intake form. Please take the time to fill this in thoroughly, as it includes questions about allergies, supplements/medications and your presenting symptoms.

The day before your appointment, you’ll receive an email reminder of your appointment. If you can no longer attend, you’re welcome to reschedule or cancel. However, I do require 24 hours’ notice of any changes to appointments. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.

I pride myself on being timely. However, if I’m running late for any reason, I will do my best not to inconvenience you by warning you ahead of time, where possible.

Private health fund rebates are available for any acupuncture appointment. However, rebates will depend on your level of coverage.

Please wear loose and flexible clothing as this allows you to remain comfortable during treatment.

Cancellation policy

Wollongong Acupuncture has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations on the day of the appointment will be charged at 50% of the treatment fee. No shows or cancellations within 1 hour of the appointment will be charged the full appointment fee. Individual circumstances will always be taken into consideration before charging the fees.
